Residential Complex Galerie nad Vltavou

In the past, a garden colony, which is considered nowadays as natural resort, was established on the slope of the hill over Okrouhlík. The locality provides a perfect basis for residential housing thanks to the magnificent view of Prague. The Residential Complex Galerie nad Vltavou is first residential project of its kind in that area. The apartments built can thereby fully develop the potential of the location.

Sensitive inclusion of the residential project in the scenery – the full-grown park covering the southern side of the complex, emphasized the necessary harmony of man and nature. Due to elimination of surrounding transport, except of the transport link to the complex, an intimate space for decent and nice living could be created.

The apartment buildings were designed to assure the best possible view of Prague valley with all the historical monuments surrounded by green areas as Troja, Petřín Hill and Vítkov. In the initial phase the designers put emphasis on solitary objects. The asymmetry in the front line was designed on purpose to enable the incredible view of the city also to the two “U”-shaped apartment buildings in the second row.

The left part of the residential complex consist of two apartment buildings interconnected thereby assuring the independence and intimacy of the complex. The concept of assuring the best possible view was applied also on the apartment buildings in the second row. Tree-lined Avenue inside the complex, view of the city, central fan-shaped south-oriented area, accented visual contact with the heart of the city and comfortable living – that all can be found in the residential complex Galerie nad Vltavou.
